High Valley Community Center (HVCC) is located in the rural town of Del Norte, Colorado. HVCC provides much needed youth services to 70% of the school-aged children in the community. They are seeking financing to support their day-to-day operations while they wait for grant funding that has been awarded but not yet received.
High Valley Community Center offers a safe environment where our youth develop and strengthen positive values and behaviors through responsive programming, community service learning, and meaningful opportunities that inspire them to reach their full potential.
Everyone benefits when our children are doing better. HVCC believes that youth are the solution and we work hard every day to create a community that will allow our future to reach their full potential. We operate in an extremely rural community and 74% of our participants are free and reduced lunch eligible.
Without HVCC, there would be little to no access to homework support, youth sports, after-school or summer programs.
HVCC provides a safe space, trusted adults, and hot meals to 70% of the school-aged children in our community. This loan will allow us to focus on continuing the work we’ve been doing for the past 16 years and ensure that our children are the solution!
