Christ Pacific Church is embarking on its first solar project. They are planning to install a 86.4kW Solar Parking Shade Structure designed to offset energy costs, increase resiliency and model stewardship. The total cost of the system is $311,040.
This LENDonate loan will partially cover the cost, with the balance of the project being funded by their fundraising campaign and a federal tax credit (approximately $93k).
The proceeds from this loan will allow Christ Pacific Church to design, build and install a solar carport structure.
The loan will be repaid through a Federal Tax Grant, savings from energy costs, Net Energy Metering and congregation donations.
Christ Pacific Church’s solar project will help offset their energy costs and provide insulation from energy cost increases. Additionally, their community recognizes its’ responsibility of environmental stewardship and this project is a tangible act of caring for their environment. Investing in solar will help their community utilize their resources to serve our surrounding community at large.
